Mr Hollan began training Taekwondo in November 2018 under the instruction of Mr Joshua Clemmer of Waldron Arkansas. His dedication and commitment was apparent from the start as he rank tested for his Yellow Belt after only 5 days of training.
Later, Mr Hollan was invited to join the leadership team where he was given the opportunity to to assist with classes. His two younger brothers joined the martial arts school with Mr Hollan helping to teach their classes.
After training for a bit, Mr Hollan began teaching in his home town with his first class of five students being held in his great grand mother’s front yard. He later worked his way through the ranks earning his 1st Degree Black Belt in 2021.
Mr Hollan has worked a few different jobs…even once as a Wild Land Fire Fighter, but he has always returned to his first love training and teaching the Martial Arts. He was offered the opportunity to teach and train as the Assistant Instructor of the Melissa location as we opened our newest Pro Black Belt Academy. He left his Taekwondo school in Arkansas to his younger brother as he now teaches with our Melissa Team.
Mr Hollan is an excellent Martial Artist with training in both Taekwondo and Jiujitsu. He looks forward to continuing his journey with you at the Melissa Academy!
